'It will act of a Hollywood film. It is not this German director [ Uwe Boll ] who will occupy himself of the adaptation. Viggo Mortensen [ character of Aragorn in The Lord of the Boxing rings/in photograph ] would make very good Snake for this film, but it is perhaps a little too old. Metal Gear Solid, which took seat in Alaska, would be an ideal framework for film.' Hideo Kojima, the famous creator of the series Metal Gear Solid declares, which confirms with English magazine PSW that its play will be adapted soon to the cinema. Hideo Kojima reveals some small information in addition relating to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots envisaged on PlayStation 3, one learns as well as the Otacon robot could finally be withdrawn definitively from the final version of the play because of problems of implementation. The person in charge for the project also announces that the aspect of play on line will take an important place in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Hideo Kojima finishes by evoking the possibilities of a new play Metal Gear Solid on PSP. To follow.

Hideo Kojima : 'It's going to be a Hollywood film. It won't be that German director [Uwe Boll]. Viggo Mortensen would make a perfect Snake, but maybe he's a little too old. Metal Gear Solid, which was set in Alaska, would make a perfect setting for the movie.'
